EC-MQM - Airbus A340 - Plus Ultra Lineas Aereas

The Airbus A340-300 with registration EC-MQM was originally delivered to Air France, where it served on intercontinental routes connecting Europe with destinations in the Americas, Africa and Asia. 

After its time with Air France, the aircraft later joined the fleet of Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas, a Spanish airline focused on long-haul routes between Spain and Latin America.

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas is a Spanish long-haul airline based in Madrid and founded in 2011 by a group of aviation professionals, including former executives of Air Madrid. The airline was created to strengthen air connections between Spain and Latin America, focusing on markets with strong cultural and economic ties. After several years of preparation, Plus Ultra launched commercial operations in 2016 from its hub at Madrid–Barajas Airport. The airline operates Airbus wide-body aircraft, mainly on routes to destinations such as Lima, Caracas, Bogotá, and Santo Domingo. Named after Spain’s historic national motto “Plus Ultra” (“Further Beyond”), the airline reflects Spain’s long tradition of transatlantic aviation links.
